Liberian Muslims have been called upon to put the past behind and unite as they observe the holy month of Ramadan. Speaking Tuesday to reporters, the Chairman of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, Alhaji Abraham Fomba Sheriff, said Muslims in Liberia must come together under one organization for peace, unity and reconciliation.
Alhaji Sheriff indicated that Liberia is one country so Muslims must unite to help the Unity Party-led government to bring peace in the country. “No matter what, Islam is here to stay and if Islam is to stay here, Muslims must at all cost be united”.
