Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, who is also chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, stressed the need for extending the best possible services for the Haj pilgrims and to ensure that all the facilities and arrangements are in place to enable the pilgrims perform their rituals in ease and comfort. Chairing the meeting of the Supreme Haj Committee at his office here on Sunday, Prince Naif Prince asserted that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince Sultan are keen to provide the best services and facilities for pilgrims.
The Interior Minister urged those bodies concerned with serving pilgrims to implement the directives of the leadership and provide the pilgrims with top quality services since their arrival in the Kingdom until their return. During the meeting, several issues pertaining to the facilities provided to pilgrims for the forthcoming Haj were discussed. The committee reviewed the outcome of field studies on improving the mechanism for smooth flow of pilgrims to and from the Haram Mosque with a high degree of security and safety. The committee also looked at the studies and researches pertaining to developmental projects in the central region of Makkah.
